I'm a fan of Constant Contact - an Email Marketing Service - here's why!

Real Estate Agent

Now - this one just makes sense.. Email newsletters - a fantastic way to reach your clients in my opinion. It's easy, inexpensive and creates a marvelous tool to stay in touch.

My fave? Constant Contact.

What makes it so great? First of all - it's professional (as long as it's done right!). True - there ARE free programs you can use - most popular is MailChimp - but they don't offer as many innovative features -  I find the name of it to be so cheap and cheesy. It drives me bananas!!

Perception is such a big part of this business - many clients WILL judge you based on your appearance. My advice is to create emails that STAND OUT and present youself as professional as possible. (You can still have fun though - don't get me wrong!) :)

TRACK YOUR SUCCESS - you are able to track your success - see who's opening your email and where they're clicking. (From my experience - Featured Listings are the most clicked on link). This feature really helps to provide valuable information to your client - After a few emails - you can really see what sort of information they find worthy of a click.

TRACK IT ON YOUR SMARTPHONE - What's really cool is that Constant Contact also offers a free phone app - so you can track your emails stats via your phone. You can also send emails via your app - I haven't done one yet - but I might! :)

INNOVATIVE FACEBOOK TAB - how about adding a SIGN UP TO MY NEWSLETTER onto your facebook page? That means that when a Facebook fan signs up to your newsletter - it's automatically added to your Constant Contact database. Yep - pretty cool!

UNSUBSCRIBE FEATURE - They merely click the link at the bottom and your Constant Contact Database will automatically update the client's preferences.

THEY GIVE BACK - Cares4Kids program - Since 2005, they have donated their suite of Email Marketing, Online Survey, Event Marketing, and Social Media Marketing services for free* to any organization that works directly with children. I love that!!

So - how much is it for this? Well - depending on your client base and what how many images you'd like to feature (more than 5 images is an extra $5/month charge - no biggie..) Here's the breakdown:

Try it out for free for 60 days - and if you sign up by clicking here, I will personally help you customize your first email for free! Also - if any of you have any questions at all - please shoot me an email - I'm happy to help! I like to give back too!

You should really check it out - I'm a big fan! You should be too!

I can't get into the email newsletter...what do you write about once a month?

@Metro Homes Team - Once a month? That's the easiest - I'd suggest giving your clients a market update - recapping last month's activities in your area. Featured listings can also be on the same newsletter - |Another idea - a calendar with different events going on that month. Coming up with content is the easy part! :)
