Reading Blogs

By
Real Estate Agent with Jon Gosche Real Estate

As I read through these activerain blogs I see a lot of adds for home but very few comments.  One of the reasons that I joined this group was that I was told it was a good way to create a Realtor network.  It also is a potentially good venue for sharing with peers about current real estate problems and solutions like short sales.  I attract a lot of short sale inquiries by having www.BoiseHomesandLandforSale.com and www.BoiseMeridianRealEstate.com  loaded with short sale information.

I realize that I live in Idaho and most people don't!  I doubt a lot of Realtors know people moving ot Idaho.  But put me on your list of agents to get referral fees from.

Jon, there are a lot of listing posts but there is also a lot of great info posted each day so it's worth sifting through the home ads for the good stuff...

Jon - There are probably several blogs that are listings focused, but I agree with Keith that you will also find many blogs with great content regarding the real estate market. Unfortunatally there are also too many junk blogs....agent blogging for points.

Jon: Personally I put my listings where they are seen. Just because there are no comments though doesn't mean folks aren't looking. Cheers.

I put our listings on here too, but lots of other things also.  Also, when you are looking at the blogs you can go to the "professionals" tab or "featured" instead of "consumer" and you won't see as much of the listings and advertising stuff. -Kasey
