Today, I Needed a Body Double!
Thank you, Navona. I had one of those days too, but then sat down and counted what I had done today and felt that I really did not have a bad day at all!
If today is any indication of the times ahead, I am going to need another me. Ever have one of those days? Where you just don't get done what you set out to do? Welcome to my today!
I left the office at 7 pm. All the way home I thought of what I hadn't gotten done today: A CMA; a buyer call; a potential listing; the deed from the courthouse; the list was expanding in my head on my 10 minute ride home.
After a nice dinner prepared by my husband--this is normal and one day I will give you a blog post on how to get your husband to cook--my brain started to feel less cloudy, less stressed.
I had an ah-ha moment. I got out pen and paper. I remembered a training I had done for my agents months ago. I began to write what I had gotten done. As the list grew and grew I started to feel better about my day, well actually about my life. I put check marks beside every item on the list! If felt great to look at that list.
This empowered me to attack the evening! I am even getting what I love to do done. Yes, tomorrow I will have to finish the other stuff, but today was a success after all.
