What were your 10 Best ActiveRain Post in 2010?Top Ten Ct.

The statistic page on ActiveRain is one of my favorite pages. It tells you how many Comments, Views and Clicks you got for each post.  It is really interesting to me to see what blogs people like and which were not big hits. For me there were some surprises where I thought I hit it on the bull’s eye but got very low views and other blogs that took only minutes to write where big hits….you never know.

I would like to share my 10 most viewed blogs of 2010. What were your 10 most active blogs in 2010? I follow a lot of ActiveRain members for their quality content and style of writing, some of my favorite are:

Dagny Eason, Paula Hathaway, Michael Thornton, Phyllis Lerner, Chrissy Doremus and Debbie Gartner just to mention a few, I can write a whole page if you like.

Are you up for the challenge, publish your top 10 blogs for 2010.

I started my journey in late August - so this year, I do not have as many comments as I would have loved to see - though fortunate enough for 3 features. Still, will go through the stats (and surprise myself, if any of them had 1000+ views..)

Karen,

Your lists proves that hyperlocal posts generate many hits, especially from end consumers.

Karen - I did this recently and while I knew that my posts on my local dpa programs would probably be in the top ten, it was nice to see that my posts on underwriting guidelines were also in the top ten.

The funny thing though, the dpa program that I get the most calls/emails on wasn't the highest rated post.  While I intend to blog more about the posts that are getting the most consumer clicks, I also need to stick with the posts that are working for me even if they're not getting the most clicks.

It sounds like for those of us who looked back,  we all enjoyed a few surprises.  It's good to study these things and I'm glad I was challenged to do so.
