There’s nothing better than seeing your favorite band live in concert, except when that concert is absolutely free, come out to spend more time with your friends and family. The nation’s biggest bands hit Ski Town U.S.A during the 2011 Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free Concert Series, now entering its 12th season.
This is an amazing line up of talented artists as we head into the 12th season of free music in Steamboat. There isn’t a better way to enjoy an incredible spring outing in the mountains than by combining Champagne Powder snow with plenty of sunshine and a free concert by some of the hottest bands around. The North Mississippi Allstars, Sam Bush, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, John Popper and the Duskray Troubadors, Los Lonely Boys, katchafire and The Wailers grace the stage with their high-energy on-stage performances that cross musical genres and styles in the heart of Gondola Square.

The new Bear River Terrace will be the place to be in 2011, providing the ultimate viewing spot for all the Bud Light Rocks the Boat concerts. The existing Bear River deck has been removed and replaced with a new Terrace and Umbrella Bar. The all-season European-inspired Umbrella Bar, a fully-heated, glass-enclosed facility just steps off the slopes, features floor to ceiling windows for year-round enjoyment. In addition, a new outdoor fire pit with a string of eight individual fires adds to the enjoyment at the ski area base.
