A set of FREE public music concerts will rock the outdoor stage in Gondola Square at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area at 1:30pm today Thursday, January 6th and again on Saturday, January 8th as part of the Steamboat MusicFest. In addition, a Cajun cookout and washer tourney round out the festivities during Saturday afternoon for concert-goers.

The free shows are part of the sold-out Steamboat MusicFest event taking place this week in Ski Town, U.S.A. The largest group ski trip of its kind in the nation, MusicFest brings the finest Texas and Americana music to the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This marks the 26th year that John Dickson Productions has been organizing first-class group ski travel to Steamboat, complete with a jam-packed schedule of music activities and events. The Steamboat MusicFest combines a cross of musicians and musical styles that incorporates country, rock and blues in a beautiful Rocky Mountain setting. The free concert is a fantastic way for fans to share great music with their favorite performers in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. These shows have been so popular that they decided to an additional day this year.
