Ocean House has an excellent location, just one mile west of the central public beach in Gulf Shores. This puts owners and their guests in walking distance to all the popular hot spots, like The Hangout and Pink Pony Pub, as well as beach apparel and souvenir shops. The condo itself enjoys a prime gulf front location and offers an ideal vantage point for sunrises and sunsets.
Ocean House has great condos at exceptional values. It is not likely to find a unit listed over $300,000, with many of the units priced in the low 200's. The monthly condo fee covers many of the essentials, like exterior insurance, water, basic cable, wireless Internet and local telephone service.
Ocean House has outstanding amenities, with my personal favorite being the gulf front pool. The pool is huge and provides zero-entry at opposite ends, making it easy for small children to enjoy a fresh dip out of the salt water. The decking around the pool is very spacious and there are gazebos at either end for those in need of some shade.
Ocean House has an very attractive lobby area, which can be hard to find among its competitors. Owners enjoy covered parking and there is ample lot parking for guests. Parking is protected by private security during peak times of the year.
