Assumption Church in Broadview Heights Ohio to Hold Clothing Drive

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Trinity Brecksville Ohio

coatAs I sit in my warm home in my warm clothes and soon to drop into my warm bed, I am reminded by the snow that is falling outside how cold it really is. And then I am reminded about how many people will sleep on the cold streets of Cleveland tonight.  Sometimes we think that a pair of jeans and a sweater won't really do much to help, but they do. And so do scarves and mittens so if you have some spares, please consider giving them to the West Side Catholic Center

Winter Clothing Drive at Assumption Parish
Broadview Heights, Ohio

WHO: Your donations to the West Side Catholic Center for the city's less fortunate
WHAT: Hats, gloves, pants, jeans, coats, hoodies, and socks
WHEN:  The first 3 weekends in January right after all the Masses
WHERE: Collection baskets will be located at the back of the church with boy scouts at each of the 4 entrances to help if needed
WHY: To help those less fortunate keep warm during the winter months

mittensThe parishioners of Assumption Parish have always been generous. I know they will continue to be for this very important clothing drive!

Great post. One warm coat can make a big difference to someone out there. Glad to see you added all the other clothing items to help keep someone warm on the list of donations!

Hi Elisa,

It was not too long ago that our local news showed good Samaritans walking the streets of Cleveland looking for those who might be sleeping there...sad, but still a reality.
