I love when technology makes life easier and simpler-and just more fun. This blog on a new app - paying for your Starbucks Coffee with an iPhone app, is great. She explains how she found out about it from a Chris Smith @ Tech Savvy Agent tweet, then tried it herself with success.

Pay for your Starbucks Coffee with your iPhone!
Yep! You can now pay for your Starbucks Coffee with your iPhone. Right now, this only works at the locations located inside Target or in New York.
I follow Chris Smith @ Tech Savvy Agent on Twitter and he tweeted this the other day. Today, I finally had the opportunity to test it out.
I downloaded the app, entered my gift card, and headed to Target.I ordered a Carmel Mocha Frappucchino and asked if I could pay with my iPhone. The attendant said, “I’ve been told that you can.” So...I opened the app, tapped on the 'Starbucks Mobile App', and tapped on 'payments'. Up popped my $30.00 balance and I tapped on 'touch to pay.' A bar code popped up.... the attendant scanned it and the receipt popped out of the register! TADA!

I look forward to being able to do this at the Starbucks free standing locations too! No more carrying around gift cards!! I love it! :)))
