The Highland Village Wal-Mart Supercenter is a fresh, upscale store that
will feature an interior design and color scheme that has not been seen in
any other Wal-Mart in the country. The open format deli, bakery and produce
departments will make for a pleasant shopping experience. The Sushi and
deli bar are only some of the exciting features of the new Supercenter. The
store will also include a bike and repair shop instead of the Tire and Lube
shop so that customers can take advantage of the new service by riding up on
the many nearby neighborhood trails. From the wall of TVs in the electronics
department to the convenient location of the pharmacy to trendy shelving and
lighting, the new Supercenter will be an exciting destination for Highland Village
residents. The store will also showcase important energy-effi cient technologies, such as LED lights and motion detectors, which
help conserve energy while providing beautiful visual appeal. The 203,000 square foot store will also feature outside seating in
a beautiful park-like setting. The Highland Village Wal-Mart Supercenter is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2007.
