The first Seminole Heights Market of 2011 returns to the grounds of Hillsborough High school (5000 N. Central Ave., Tampa 33603).  This second  season from October 10th, 2010 through May 8th, 2011.  The Seminole Heights Sunday Market is held the 2nd Sunday of each month.  This is not a flea market or neighborhood bazzar but a market with quality vendors with an emphasis on: Fresh, Local, and Lively.  Music and cooking demonstrations by area chefs make this a true community gathering for folks from across the Tampa Bay Area.  Young and old, babies in strollers and puppies on leashes, long time neighborhood residents and new commers alike are drawn to this community gathering.

New vendors:

NEW Organic Produce Vendor.  Welcome Magnolia Organics, Certified Organic Farm from San Antonio, FL.

A New Bread Vendor.   A warm welcome to Olga who will be selling Amish Bread varieties!  She has top quality, fresh bread made locally in Sarasota. For those of you who did not know it, Florida's only Amish community is within the city limits of Sarasota in the Pinecraft neighborhood.  In truth, the area is made up of Amish, Mennonites, and others, but it is those members of the Plain Sects, in their traditional clothing, that catch the eye.

Rob Irie 2Live Music performance this month is by Rob Irie. Rob mostly performs as a solo entertainer. By using a loop machine to layer acoustic guitar, bass, flute, harmonica, world percussion and more, the result sounds as if a full band is on stage!
