Bill Saunders (Hot Springs Arkansas homes for sale (Diamondhead Realty)): Real Estate Agent in Hot Springs, AR Bill Saunders (Diamondhead Realty)
"The main success so far is the association with and unofficial training and networking with many, many unselfish and wonderful agents across our country. For right now, this is absolutely invaluable, and so many of you are so free with your knowledge and experiences, it is wonderful. Thanks!!!!"

Ted Tyrrell - Selling Homes in Beautiful Victoria! (Victoria, Oak Bay, Saanich Peninsula, Esquimalt, Bear Mtn.): Real Estate Agent in Victoria, BC Ted Tyrrell (DFH Real Estate)
"Using ActiveRain as a communication vehicle between fellow Realtors is the way to go. I am learning so much from these colleagues of mine. I find that ActiveRain is the place I go time and time again to 'connect' and 'get answers' to many of my questions. It's like I have a gigantic office work place, but where everyone is helping each other. Fellow Realtors, we need each other to grow our business. 'Pay It Forward' is my motto!"

Brandon DeVere (The Force Realty): Real Estate Agent in Snoqualmie, WA Brandon DeVere (The Force Realty)
"Ater coming to AR about a year ago I did not see any change in business. That was because I didn't spend any time on it. I have been active on for the last 3 weeks and have already gotten a listing and a showing. Not only have I been able to acrue points and gain exposure, I have been able to learn so much from fellow members. It has been amazing."

Sanna K Thomas PA GRI,E-Pro,SFR,AHWD, LH Ocala Florida Luxury Homes,Horse Farms (Keller Williams Cornerstone Realty): Real Estate Agent in Ocala, FL Sanna K Thomas (Keller Williams)
"Never give up and try something new is the key to success on AR. I have just received a real referral. I'm seeing my name go up in the search engines and have begun to network with great people I would never have had an opportunity to meet. Yes it takes time, but it is really well worth the investment of a few minutes each day. Social media for Real Estate is simply a natural."

Lori Mode and Bruce Durham 916-230-0371 DRE License #00935148 and #00875356 (Keller Williams Realty): Real Estate Agent in Elk Grove, CA Lori Mode and Bruce Durham (Keller Williams Realty)
"We love ActiveRain! I was slow to start blogging but once I got going it's been great and it gets easier and easier. We have been contacted by buyers specifically because of our ActiveRain blog and have closed 2 recent transactions due to it. But also recently I have written several blogs about Short Sales and just today, I was contacted by 3 possible sellers who are in hardship situations and contemplating a short sale. All 3 of these came from our blog! It's wonderful!"

Joyce Marsh - Coastal Lifestyle Specialist (Stirling Sotheby's Realty-Coastal Division): Real Estate Agent in Daytona Beach, FL Joyce Marsh (Stirling Sotheby's Realty)
"Networking on activerain is one of the best ways to reach other professionals in the real estate community around the globe. Sharing ideas, regional trends and opportunities with other activerain members has been very beneficial to my business as well as additional exposure for my listings.....Having the ability to network with other ActiveRain members and share ideas and business opportunities is one of the greatest benefits of membership in ActiveRain."

Its all about mindset!  I absolutely love this time of year -- beginning mid-December I start to experience an inner excitement I can barely control :)  New Year, fresh ideas, how FUN :)

Collegiality: that's what I feel I get most from ActiveRain. I actually feel more collegiality online with you guys than I do in my local Board, and I had to do some thinking about this. It is often true that "familiarity breeds contempt," and I've got to watch that, because I see my local colleagues daily, and really do love them (though there are times...). But I am spending a lot of time on ActiveRain, so I've got to understand that what I'm learning while I do is invaluable for me - especially in these economic times.

I've often thought that the LEVEL of dialogue on this site is invigorating and educational, and for this I am grateful!!

Hi Kerrie,

I am her today watching your Seahawks. I hope they beat the saints so we can bet the ranch between us when they come to Atlanta. I am betting a sack of Vidalia onions, unless you want Georgia Pecans against smoked Salmon. Are we on if the Seahawks win?

I attended webinars in July and August and I have been blogging away since then.  I have had a number of leads come through, based on my articles on google.  I haven't closed a deal yet, but I absolutely see the value of active rain and I plan to continue to blog.  I have also connected my website to my blogs, so they each point to the other.  This has boosted my websites value, too.  Thanks AR!!!

I have enjoyed active rain because I enjoy writing the articles and sharing with my peers.  It has helped my website in placement on Google, but I have not seen any new business as of yet.  It doesn't really matter however as long as I enjoy AR.
