2010 was an interesting weather year in the state of Georgia and it looks like the trend is going to continue in 2011!
We are expecting our second winter storm of the season late this weekend. After a record breaking 110 days of 90 degree plus temperatures in the summer of 2010, December in Georgia was one of the coldest on record.
And we were treated to a white Christmas for the very first time, which was a fitting finale for the holiday season.
As we face another icy blast of winter, I’ll make certain that we have plenty of hot coffee and an extra blanket or two!
It’s going to be a cold, long winter.
