Assistance in Finding and Applying for a Job: A job readiness Coach - on a drop-in basis on Mondays from 10-1 p.m. and on Saturdays 1-4 p.m. Go to the BTOP Help Center on the Second Floor.
Assistance with Completing E-Forms for food stamps and other benefits, on-line job applications, immigration papers, etc. A trained librarian is available to meet and help you also on a drop-in basis on Thursdays 6-8 p.m., and on Fridays 1-3 p.m. This is also on the second floor, BTOP Help Center.
Assistance finding Social Service Resources and Benefits. A bi-lingual social worker/intern will be available on a drop-in basis on Mondays 1:30-5:30 p.m. and Wednesdays 1:30-5:30 p.m. at the BTOP Help Center, second floor.
Small Business Counseling. There are SCORE volunteers available by appointment only (914) 948-3907 and will meet with you on Mondays 6-7:45 p.m. at the BTOP Help Center, second floor.
Help Using the Internet to Prepare for and Pass the GED. Trained computer assistants will assist you in preparing for the GED, online on Saturdays, 2-5 pm at the third floor computer lab.
Assistance and Unreserved Time to Practice Computer Skills. Trained computer assistants can give you one-on-one help or you can practice on your own. Mondays, 1-7:45 p.m., Tuesdays, 1-6 p.m., Thursdays, 2-6:30 p.m., Saturdays, 1-5 p.m.
Ten Additional Computers with High Speed Broadband Service …. new bank of computers available for 2 hour increments for patrons 18 years or older who wish to conduct research or seek job searches.
