What "they" dont tell you about living in the Georgia!
In GA we get PERFECT Snow Storms!!
OH! What a beautiful sight!!!
Yes... this IS an actual picture of my neighborhood here in Georgia!!!
Last year we had the most snow on one day than we had had in over 15 years!!! My house received 7 whole inches!! The temperature was about 29f and conditions just right! The flurries began about 4 pm on a Friday afternoon and it snowed intil around 10 pm that night. It was absolutely GORGEOUS!
My children, and all the children in the neighborhood, were out building snowmen way into the night! Many of these kids were seeing snow for the very first time! (even at 10 or 12 years old)
By morning, the roads were clear thanks to the warm sun and adventurous southerners were slowly testing their winter driving skills. By noon, there was little snow left and the outside air temperature was a balmy 45f! Most of the wet white stuff had melted away and the green grass was fresh and our winter flowers relieved of their snowy burdens.
How could Old Man Winter achieve any more perfection than this storm?
From the first flake to the last melting snowball was a total of 18 hours!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it kids and adults alike!
AND it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!
THIS YEAR............. In fact in TWO days we are expecting another "RARE" GA snow storm.
LET it SNOW.... LET it SNOW...
Be careful and Safe and go have FUN!
