Please don't be offended by anything I say, I owe you the truth.

sunPlease don't be offended by anything I say, I owe you the truth.

SunSometimes the truth is painful. But I have always found that it is better to know the truth and to be able to make a fully informed decision based on fact rather than guessing based upon a pretty fairy tale.

I can easily tell you that it is a beautiful sunny day, but if you look outside and see the downpour, not only have I wasted both of our time but I have also insulted your intelligence. I keep this philosophy when pricing a home too. It will not do either of us any good to over price your home and have it sit on the market and then request price reduction after price reduction in order to get it sold.

sun In the last few years I have had to tell many clients (and some potential clients) "Please don't be offended by anything I say, I owe you the truth"when helping them put their home on the market for sale. While the Northfield MN area has not been hit as hard as some by the changes in the real estate market, we have still seen a reduction in home values, causing some homeowners to be underwater in their homes value.

If you are thinking about selling and looking for an honest evaluation of your homes value call me, but remember "Please don't be offended by anything I say, I owe you the truth."

There is nothing wrong with telling the truth.  it is much better than blowing smoke at them.

Bob,  I agree. No one wins if you start telling them what they want to hear if it is not true.

Hi Bob~  My clients appreciate the fact that I tactfully tell them like it is.  They hire us for honesty and if that isn't what they are expecting, they don't need to hire me.

Well said, and I am going to use the line from you in my business dealings.  As a loan officer, especially in todays world, there are "uncomfortable" conservations that I have to have with folks.  The truth can be painful sometimes, and I certainly do not want hearing the truth to be offensive to anyone, just necessary!  Thanks Bob!  Deb - The Mortgage Lady

What can we do for you today?

Very true tell the truth and it will be best for all. Now how you state the truth can best be done with a soft tone and touch. Have a great day.
