Snow Day at the Jersey Shore!
I knew there was snow forecast for the Jersey Shore yesterday, and I heard that southern ocean County was due for more snow at the beginning of the week.
But what did I miss? Nobody sent me the snow memo! Early this morning busy at my desk, I looked up and there it was again. It's a Jersey Shore winter! Snow in Manahawkin!
It is so hard to mesh beach and snow together in my mind. It just doesn't seem right and should be beach, sand, sunshine, water, etc.

Laura, Doesn't it just make everything look, beautiful! We got snow last night, too! They say, more tonight! So nice for the kids! We've been on Martha's Vineyard in the winter. My husband grew up there. I must admit, it does look very strange when you see snow on a beach:)

Sue - It is kind of strange, but pretty too!
Frances - I agree, but I won't be saying that around February! I'll have had enough!

I didn't get the memo either...I've definitely have had enough of the white stuff!
You can see it here too...though I would prefer it only on Christmas cards...Santa's workshop.....north pole...
Laura...looks like you had a pretty snow. Sometimes it just dumps on a person and other times it makes a different statement
Laura -- We got 10 inches here in CT (at my house). We were only expecting about 3....and guess what? There's more on the way this week! Ugh. I do have to say, though, that today it truly looked like a winter wonderland.
Toula-And I was looking online all day, all that was said was a half inch!!!!

Nice photos, Laura! You definitely got more snow yesterday than we did in Massachusetts. The sky here looks like it has more in store for us, though. Things do look good in the snow...until you have to go and shovel them out! :)

Enjoy the snow....or is this possible? I have a very rare thing today in Rockwall, Texas....we have snow...it is still coming down and beautiful. Loving it today, hoping it will be gone tomorrow!
