Pinehurst NC Real Estate Sales for 2010 saw mild improvement over 2009.
The increase in sales was just over 6% from 2009 and most of the sales came in the first half of the year due to the Government credit which expired as of June 30, 2010.
One of the interesting statistics from 2010 was how flat Pinehurst area sales were from August until December.
As you can see the last six months was fairly flat when in prior years the same time period showed more fluctuations from month to month in gross residential sales.
As no one can make predictions as to what the future will bring or what these patterns in Pinehurst area real estate sales indicate. It can be said that it looks like we are riding along a bottom as some economists have predicted and if the economy continues to recover we will see our high inventory levels of homes decrease and then we can start to see more growth in real estate sales and pricing.
Pinehurst NC real estate has been challenging for the past 3 years as it has in most of the country and there are some great opportunities especially for buyers in the current market.
