Winter Weather Watch

By
Real Estate Agent with Metro West Realty GA RE#258608

I live and work in West Georgia and tonight we're expecting some some winter weather. Schools have been cancelled for tomorrow and the milk and bread have disappeared from the store shelves.  I figured I had better hurry up and post a blog before the freezing rain takes out the power.

My son, who is 12 has been watching the sky and excited that snow is on the way. We love snow ice cream!

I must say that i've been a bit entertained at all the hoopla and crazy behavior that accompanies the threat of winter weather here in the deep south. I probably will go off road with some four-wheeler action tomorrow and let the crazy drivers have the paved roads!

Let is snow - I couldn't make it stop if I wanted to!

Anyone want to see one of my listings tomorrow?  - just thought I'd ask!!

I think Carroll county schools were the first to be closed. I live in Marietta. My wife (Cobb County teacher) and my daughter (Cobb County HS Senior) have been anxiously watching for Cobb County to close their schools.  I'm with you - let it snow!

Good luck with the snow. I recently went skiing at Big Bear, California when I was visiting family in La Quinta, California for the holidays. I sure am glad to be bad to surfing in Waikiki.

We never have to worry about this stuff here in Florence Oregon on the coast. We have closed school for 1 day in the last 12 years. We had an inch of snow.

Dwayne, Now that is the attitude to have.  Many of the norhtern people have lost their sense of adventure as of late!
