 This is a Post about discovering Cupcakes Couture of Manhattan Beach, CA. Please allow me to tell you the story of how we discovered this great place in a roundabout way.

Today I decided to take a day off from Real Estate, so Diane and I drove to the Blue Water Grill in Redondo Beach, CA.  Some of you know about this great Seafood Restaurant. If not please check it out next time you are in the neighborhood.  So a late lunch or early dinner was on order.(See my post about it:  http://endre.activerain.com/post/1706032/the-blue-water-grill-redondo-beach-ca ) We did not eat desert and I mentioned to Diane about stopping somewhere on the way home, maybe the Cheesecake Factory and pick up some desert.

So on the way home to Marina Del Rey, CA I decided to drive thru one of my favorite Beach Cities, which happens to be Manhattan Beach, CA.  I pulled into a parking space right next to ‘Pages' (an independent bookstore   http://www.pagesabookstore.com/ ) sadly they close on Sundays at 5:00 pm which I forgot.

Now after I just put in a couple of Quarters we decided to stroll on Manhattan Ave. Much to my surprise we only walked six or eight steps and we saw Cupcakes Couture of Manhattan Beach. This place was inviting us to go in. (www.cupcakescouturemb.com) we were in luck they were open until 6:00 pm. We'll see for yourself and tell me what you think.

So to finish my story if you are strolling on Manhattan Ave Please stop in at 916 Manhattan Ave and tell them you want a tast of luxury in every bite.

BTW the Latte and the Cappuccino was great too.

Lenn- thank you for the comment as well as the Google Information. They are so good, a Japanese Businessman came in and tasted their cupcakes and made them an offer so in the Spring they will be opening Cupcakes Couture of Tokyo.

Virginia- there are at least 20 different flavors:)

Terkel- they have about three  which are Less than 100 calories:))

Norma- I find where there is motivation it is Always in the Way just might take a bit longer to get there but it is in teh way

I love how cupcakes have taken over the market - we can get some small bites and not be left with 1/2 a cake that just get's thrown out, Endre.  Then, this place has doggie treats on top of that - it's definitely on MY list of places to see if I ever get to enjoy ALL of the great places you blog about in Manhattan Beach.

I do enjoy a good cupcake however I am going to have to be careful how many I eat.  I will have to make another trip to the mens store to get larger pants.  It is amazing how the dry cleaners shrink my slacks.  Unfortunately we have a couple of really good bakeries here and that is not a good thing for the waist line.  Thanks for the blog.

Erica being from the East Coast, Dunkin Donuts are not so bad:))

Juli being pet friendly is important to us all, I love the Pacific Coastal towns and Manhattan Beach is one of my favorite places....
