It looks like the real Mr. Winter has shown his face.
Woke up to -4 degrees and over a foot of new snow.
We live at 6600 feet on a canyon rim and are truly blessed.
The only tracks were mine and some deer and rabbits. The sun was just coming up and clear and crisp took on a new meaning.
It will be incredable when the San Juan mountains are visable and all the new snow that cover's them will magnify their beauty. If you ski or board this is where you want to live!
We are expecting storm #4 of the season Tuesday into Wednsday... and the forecasts are all over the map... Since we ended the year with almost 3' of snow I hope it is less than a foot!
WOW! This Ozark Missouri girl sure misses stuff like that! Originally from Seattle so I miss seeing these mountains! :)

Wow, talk about beauty. I don't see much of that here in the wine country, of California. When I woke up this morning I thought I had it bad at 25 degrees, then I logged on to AR and see these beautiful pictures of the snow. It must really be awesome to live there. Thanks for sharing this, it really is incredible there!

Nick, I live/work at the Jersey Shore. The Ocean usually keeps our snow fall down a bit, but with the right conditions it can feed a storm and give us a noreaster that dumps a lot of snow!
