Maximizing Your Activerain Member's Only Account

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Fathom Realty

It’s no surprise that most Americans are looking for ways to save money… especially those of us in the Real Estate business!  In those efforts, many people who are new to Activerain are opting for the FREE Member’s Only  Account.

I think there’s a ton of value in the Member’s Only Membership as long as you are approaching this with the proper strategy,  and you are maximizing all of the great tools that Activerain offers you! Remember that these types of posts are ONLY visible to Activerain Members who are LOGGED IN.  So think about your strategy on this site:

If You Were At A National Real Estate Convention – Who Would You Be Networking With?

Leaving comments, connecting to Activerain Real Estate Agents on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn is good for business.   You never know who will know someone in your area who needs to list or buy a home – and when they do – you want them to call YOU, right?

What about TARGETING agents in those areas that buyers and sellers actively relocate to and from?  Look at this map, if I was an Agent in Dallas County, Texas (and I am)  as the chart below reflects – I would be looking for friends in King County Washington (for instance) or maybe Jefferson Parish, La.

On Activerain, that’s fairly simple to do!  Click States on the first page of Activerain (next to login)

Then Click on Washington State, find the King County in the left side bar… and Look!  Here are some folks to go make friends with!

Activerain is a powerful tool!  It’s a Great Community! Don’t give up on blogging just because you wrote 2 blog posts and no one commented on them or called you!  Be consistent and targeted in your approach, make strategic friendships with a win-win attitude, and you will find success!

This is the first of a three part series to answer questions people ask.

I have made many connections here on ActiveRain, and have been handed some incredibly well qualified referrals.  I plan on attending Rain Camp this year too, in order to learn how to properly drive this vehicle!

Great job, Joshua!   I didn't realize there was a member's only account!  I think I was grandfathered in because I became a member so long ago.  Didn't really do much blogging till recently but have been a member since 2007.
