Week Two 2011...how is it going?

So if you went back to work on January 3rd, then this is week 2 of the new year and I'm asking YOU, how is the new year going?

In an earlier post this year, I went through all the usual items that each of us takes care of to start the new year, goals, plans, set up accountabilities etc. and NOW, I'm asking you to look at what you did in week one, and see how that compared to what your goals are.

One of the things I mentioned in that post was committment, and asked what are you committed to? By looking at your numbers for last week (our first week of the new year) and being honest about them.... you can see what your committed to.

So, how many calls did you make? How many contacts did you make? How many Listing appointments did you set and how many did you go on? How many of  those turned into listings???  How many new buyer appointmnets did you set? and how many did you go on? And, how many new buyer broker agreements did you get? None of this is rocket science!!! By looking at your first weeks activity you can see that you either were committed to your production goals ...or you were committed to something else....

Ok, no judgement, We all want different things....Real Estate is a CONTACT sport!!!

I'm committed to doing the activities that bring me the production I want in 2011....are you?

Great post Quincy.  I am going to go back and read some of your earlier posts. Today is my first day back, I took time off with the kids last week, they went back to school today, and I am feeling very behind in starting out the new year. It's hard to get started again when you stop. Time to get focused, get the goal setting done and into action!!!

Hi Quincy...great post.  This business is definitely a contact sport and there is still time to get into the game.  Have a great 2011!
