Tuesday Fed announcement - Is decreasing the discount rate a good thing?

OK AR's, this Tuesday we are expecting a major announcement with a direct impact on every Realtor's business.

One of the following will happen to the discount rate:

• .25 discount bsp decrease
• .5  discount bsp decrease
  
• NOTHING

Any decrease in the discount rate can feed a recession, as well as spark some life in the real estate business.  What are you hoping to see happen? What do you see as the impact of the three options if chosen?
