Clients who turned out to be new friends!!

Making a New Friend Feels Good Art ...

I know I haven't posted anything on AR in quite a long time. I really think I was going through some kind of bloggers block of some sorts. LOL!!

Anyhoo, I recently received an email, a referral letter you could say, from clients of mine. I actually don't really call them clients anymore, because they are more like new friends .

So, I just wanted to take this opportunity to share the letter they wrote me.

Dear Edith,

We wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all of your hard work you have done for us. You were very professional and extremely helpful when ever we needed you. You were also, very prompt when it came to returning our phone calls. We really did enjoy doing business with you. Personally, it was more like working with a new friend than, just dealing with business. You made the whole process so much easier to go through. We had no idea that we would be in our new home so soon. We would be more than happy to refer anyone to you. You really have chosen the right profession for yourself. You are truly a professional Realtor. All-Terrain Richmond Realty should be lucky to have you.             Sincerely, Mr.and Mrs.Bowens

You see, we shouldn't just aim to meet new clients, but to make new friends as well. ;0)

This is a great business to create new, life-long relationships.  It is one of the things I enjoy most about this business.  Sometimes people feel that follow-up is difficult.  It is my favorite part.  Checking up on people, after the business is done.  That is when the "real" relationship starts.

Congratulations Edith,

Wow you have an amazing name. Edith Wharton was the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for the Age of Innocence.

Was she a decendant of yours or did your parents name you that for a reason?

HAHA! Lois, actually, oddly enough, I was named after my Grandmother and Wharton is my married name.

I did a little research on Edith Wharton and found out that we both married an Edward and both our B-days are in the same month , too! Weird , huh?

Well you have a very famous name, and the coincidence is so amazing...maybe you should pen to paper or fingers to the keyboard and see if something great happens.

I've written many books, and it is a great feeling to help people learn something. I've heard from hundreds of people who read my new book on direct marketing for real estate pros, and they've even sent me their response rates and invitations to their offices to speak.

So, see what you can do my friend. Good luck and let me know, oh famous one!
