Debunking The Sky Is Falling Real Estate Myth

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Sky Is FallingIn today's housing market it is VERY EASY to let fear set in as a buyer OR seller and essentially DO NOTHING. I am here to

Debunk The Sky Is Falling Real Estate Myth.

With fear, a buyer keeps waiting for lower prices. With fear a seller holds off putting his or her home on the market waiting for his neighborhood to bottom out. A crisis in confidence for both parties. The reality is markets are ALWAYS shifting and selling and moving or buying and staying for awhile should be based on YOUR NEEDS.

Not fear. The sky truly is not falling.

Ask any active top producing agent and today, and I mean today, houses are being bought and sold. Tenants are moving into rentals, landlords are having new residents move into apartments and condos are being leased and sold and land and commercial real estate all have transactions happening EVERY day.

So get UNSTUCK out of fear and quit looking up at the sky which IS NOT FALLING and instead look FORWARD in your life this year and beyond in WHAT YOU WANT TO DO with your life and your housing or investment real estate or business building needs. Life only comes around once and it is far too short to be stuck thinking about fear ever day. Sky falling thoughts are for Chicken Littles. Not YOU!!!

Great Post! Its a shame that so many people let good deals pass them by due to fear. They may get a lower price six months from now, but at what rate? and how many great places did they pass on?

Well said!  The sky will always be falling for some people and those people tend to spread their fear with a very loud voice!  Misery (and fear) loves company.  We need to tune those people out!

Those are wonderful uplifting thoughts, Gary!  I think far too often that the Chicken Little folks actually create a self-fulfilling prophecy with their thinking.  Thoughts are energy too!

You never know the outcome until you try the experience.  It will take a true professional when you come across these individuals to help them over the negative hurdle.

LOL. Agents tell me the Sacramento market sucks but I sold more than $15 million last year. It doesn't suck. You just have to be where people need you to be.

Hey Gary!

Great post and so true...these are some hard times but not as hard as in the 1920's...this is a piece of cake compared.  Keep our heads high and keep moving forward...sometimes to survive we need to get pushed to be creative :) Love that movie to by the way :)

Gary - I (like many) are big fans of your positive posts... but I need to know where you get your pictures. I have 'googled' many terms for pictures, but have never come across the photos you share. Just curious if you use certain phrases or sites to find them... inquiring minds want to know.

Gary, it's bad enough when buyers and sellers think the sky is falling, but when you get other agents around you that think the same thing... Something starts to stink.
