There are special rules for Members of the Military, the Foreign Service, and the Intelligence Community that may make them eligible for the Tax Credits in 2011 that a lot of Americans were able to taflagske advantage of in 2010.

Congress acknowledged that there are circumstances that affect members of the military, the foreign service, and the intelligence community who were on official extended duty outside the United States for at least 90 days during the period beginning after December 31, 2008 and ending before May 1, 2010.  There are exceptions for qualified personnel that apply to both first time home buyers ($8,000), and repeat home buyers ($6,500).

Find out more by going to this link:   http://www.federalhousingtaxcredit.com/service_mem.php.

If you think you are eligible for this tax credit and are in the market to purchase a house in the Northern Virginia area, give me a call.  I would love to help you find your new home.

Your housing needs are my priority!
