Showing after it's been Snowing.

Living here in Franklin County in one of the most beautiful parts of Massachusetts and New England the day after a Nor'easter is truly beautiful. Most everyone has spent the prior day in the house and/or out shoveling. All appointments and school were canceled while the snow came down in droves. Now that it's stopped, we're all shoveled out, driveways were snow blowed and plowed, cars cleaned off and just before cabin fever sets in...it's time to get out and get back to life before the storm and go show that house you canceled the day before because of the storm.

Don't you find that showing homes the day after a huge snow storm, that houses looks so crisp and feels so cozy. There's nothing like pulling up to the house on a beautiful side street on Greenfield, snow banks on both sides of the driveway, everything looks so clean and bright, you enter through the front door and it's warm and inviting. So you take off your shoes and enjoy looking at the house. And what about that seller who has a fire in the fireplace and hot cocoa on the stove. Who ever said houses don't sell well in the winter never showed a house right after a good New England snow storm in Franklin County!

I'm jealous!  We almost never get snow in this part of Texas and when we do, it's 1/4 inch!

Bradley,

You could also move to Indiana where it is snowing, blowing, icing, and slushing!!

I agree, Corrine.  The snow makes everything sparkle.  It's one of my favorite things about living in the northeast.
