One of my favorite aspects of my work as a home stager is revealing the finished product to the client. I enjoy seeing their widened eyes and the suprised looks on their faces. One of my clients this summer commented that the before and after photos on our website were "like night and day". So in an attempt to jump back into the blogosphere I wanted to share with you one of our recent transformations. To date this property has been one of my favorites. Kathy, yes staging is crucial! It is far better to do things in the proper order , stage it, shoot it, list it, sell it. We see plenty of terrible photos on the MLS here too. Unfortunately that seems to be the industry standard.

Charlene, I really fell in love with this property (I get somewhat attached to them all) unfortunately the $1.3 million selling price was a bit out of my budget.

Kathleen, we often use armless occasional chairs (especially in smaller condos) to help improve the sight lines. The blue looks great I agree, the time frame for capturing that shade is only a few minutes so you have to act quick!

Wendy, thanks for stoppin in neighbour. The art is from the same source as the "pear canvas" that you have in your inventory. Great large scale peices. Have you had a chance to use "the tree" yet? Chat soon.

Maureen, That is a great group and I have really learned a lot there. How exactly do I repost to another group? By editing the blog and changing the groups? I am not nearly as tech savvy as you.

Thanks to all who took the time to comment! To answer a few questions that were raised...

Yvonne, put it this way, money talks and attitude walks lol. I qualify them over the phone before visiting the property. Location is the biggest criteria, having inventory all over this large city is just not feasible.

Janice, It is a Kodak V570. I'm on my 3rd one. First one ran over, second one stolen. They are about $200 (last time I bought one) and the wide angle lens is great for interiors.
