Write yourself a letter

I thought I'd share with the ActiveRain community about a new website I just launched.

myFutureLetter offers a simple way to write yourself or someone else a letter and have it mailed to you in the future.  A number of productivity & motivational speakers recommend writing your "future-self" a letter to encourage yourself or to hold yourself accountable.

Personally, I had a really cool experience with this in college.  A leader at my University asked students to write themselves a letter for the end of the freshman year.  In that letter I laid out a number of goals & thoughts about what my year was going to look like.  When I opened the letter right before Spring Break I was able to see how my year went and how close I was to achieving my goals.  (It also gave me an opportunity to make and necessary changes.)

So, hop over and check out the website and send yourself a letter.

Give us a follow on Twitter @FutureLetter and send us a DM for a coupon code to save $4! (brings the price to just $6)

what an interesting concept.  I usually write a letter and give to a friend to hold.

Thanks!  I've had a number of people say that they either forgot about their letter or lost it... so I thought we could take care of that for people!
