OMG! My wife had a pair of skates exactly like those when we were kids and skating on local ponds a very long time ago. I was rummaging through our basement a few days ago and spotted them...and smiled. I have to show her this photo!

Love, love, love the picture and sooooo jealous - we were suppose to have the "snowfall of the century" but it turned warm and after just a couple of inches it turned to rain and has been gray, cloudy, wet and dumping ever since.  Enjoy the snow for me.      ...geri

Steven N- I haven't skated in a few years -but yes I do - and those are mine!  I have a matching blue cape :) You're in Kelowna???? My daughter lives there and she's a snowboard addict!

John thats cool- a friend bought them for me at a vintage store about 10 years ago - with a matching cape!

Valerie - I was in  Ottawa this summer and loved it - AND promised myself I would go back there one winter for a skate down the canal!

Chris - Ice dragging?? thats is so funny - and you're right thats the way it is with a tot that doesn't skate - yet - :)
