SKIES ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY this Saturday,. January 15, 2011, to learn how to use a telescope. And with the weather (reporters say) being near perfect in Lake Arrowhead, I have an idea you'll see plenty of stars!
A non-profit organization, MOUNTAIN SKIES ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY's goal is to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and personal experience in the sciences. They offer many opportunities for public access to the tools of science, while providing an understandable perspective of science for life long application.
Please come out this Saturday, January 15, 2010, at 7PM- 9PM, to support this wonderful organization. And while you're there, don't forget to check out their GIFT STORE.
