I DO NOT REALLY LIKE THE KITCHEN
It was another busy day in real estate for myself. I made my phone calls in the morning. Then, I was off to do a BPO forty-five minutes away from my house. However, I was meeting an older couple at one of my listings located in the same area. So, I was able to fit it in with one trip. It was well worth the trip. I met a nice elderly couple at the listing. First, I get to know who they are and where they are from. What is their motivation for purchasing a home at this time? This allows me to connect with my clients. I only have five mintues to make a positive expression. NAR statistics state that we have about 70% to get the business when being the first person. Well, I got the business being the first one on the scene.
So, I asked a bunch of questions what they like and do not like about the home. The only negative to my listing that it was not open to the dining room and/or living room. She likes to cook. So, she would like to have a kitchen open to other rooms so that she can continue to communicate with her husband while she is cooking. That makes perfectly sense to me. Here was my next question.
WOULD YOU MIND IF I VIEW THE HOUSE YOU ARE CURRENTLY RENTING TO OBTAIN A BETTER VIEW OF YOUR VISION IN A HOME?
Yes, I am a visual person. Also, they felt comfortable to invite me into their home. I got a better picture on what they want in a home. Now, I am on the quest to find the home that they want and at their price point. The husband kept telling me that it has to be a great bargain. Hey, we can purchase at the Arizona Trustee Sale. He said you are not a normal agent. Then, I invited him to listen to my weekly Real Estate and Beyond radio show on real estate investing. Overall, they knew they have the right agent on the job.
