That Reminds Me of a Seinfeld Episode

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with BidOnRealty.com

Not a day goes by without something reminding me of a Seinfeld episode.  What a great brand they built with that show.  Dozens of "Seinfeldisms" have made their way into our daily conversations:  "Yada Yada Yada", "Not that there's anything wrong with that", "Double-dip"  come to mind.

How can we build our own brands to be at the forefront of our client's minds?  Do your clients immediately spout out your name when someone asks them if they know any good real estate agents?  Are they "Raving Fans"?

Every day, we've got to knock their socks off.  I don't mean just offering exemplary service and market knowledge.  That much is to be expected.  We must do it in some creative, innovative way in order to differentiate ourselves from the competition.  Sadly, many Agents get their referrals simply by association.  "Oh, my brother-in-law is in real estate, just give him a call."  Have they considered that maybe their brother-in-law is an idiot, and that referral is better served by someone who is committed 100% to getting better every day?   Where are your referrals coming from?  Relatives, or Raving Fans?

www.BidOnRealty.com  is a new website that enables Agents to post their listings and hold their own  online auctions.  This technology can save countless hours of pointless "paper chasing" on every transaction.  It works for REO, Short Sale and Non-Distressed properties

Interesting post, but I don't think the auction route fits my biz plan.

Mitch -- My referrals come from both groups. My relatives ARE my 'raving fans' LOL.  They trust me, know me the best,  and know I am no slouch when it comes to getting any job done.

Thanks Barbara.  The best of both worlds - doing it right.  Given your post from yesterday, I don't doubt that one bit.  Most agents still in the business are excellent, but in years past, some could fall out of bed and make $100K a year based solely on friends and relatives buying or selling.  But now things are a little different.  Only the strong survive.  Thanks again for the comment.
