If I told you that you could improve your click through rate on a particular piece of Texas land for sale by as much as 400% would that be information worth paying for? What if I told you it would be totally free to get this, yes free! It's called video. There are not many Realtors taking advantage of this great medium yet. Now is the time to get in on the benefits of YouTube video as a tool to help your properties get seen and sell. We have been using and pushing video very hard for months now and will continue to encourage our members to take advantage of what video has to offer! Video will help all listings get viewed more and that’s what we all want.

Using video can be a great way to connect with your Texas land clients and set yourself apart from your competition. Just a few years ago, video was an expensive arena in which to be involved. It wasn't very practical to use video in your business. And had you tried, it wouldn't have been practical to expect many people to watch with any regularity. Now however, with YouTube the second largest search engine behind Google Yes, you read that right, YouTube is second to Google, more than Yahoo or Bing, a staggering number of videos are being consumed online every month. Some of the countries largest companies are and have been using YouTube like State Farm Insurance, Chevrolet, and Chrysler. With sophisticated million dollar companies using YouTube this should tell us all it is the wave of the future.

People are watching 2 billion videos a day on YouTube and uploading hundreds of thousands of videos daily. In fact, every minute, 24 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube. The YouTube user base is broad in age range, 18-55, evenly divided between males and females, and covering all geographies. Fifty-one percent of YouTube users go to YouTube weekly or more often, and 52 percent of 18-34 year-olds share videos frequently with friends and colleagues. With such a huge and diverse user base, YouTube offers opportunity for anyone ready to get involved and use the platform.

Try this; do a Google search for a popular search term like Britney Spears and see if you get some YouTube results on the first page of the Google results. If you have been doing many Texas land for sale Google searches these days you would have noticed YouTube videos already showing up in some of the higher Google search results where there is enough content to return results, so it would stand to reason that as more good and relevant content with land and house videos in it hits the web Google will return more and more on the first page results. If you are the Broker or Agent that starts getting busy first with video uploads of land and houses just imagine you will be the first in your area and will take command of the first page results. If no other Realtors are taking advantage of video how advantageous would it be for you to be the first and control video in your area.

The trick is start taking your video one by one on all your current Texas land listings and just make a policy that taking video is part of the listing process and over just a short period you will have all your current listing with video and start taking control of more Google results.

OMG, I've actually been to McComb, MS. and on way more than one occasion. How many agents from my neck of the woods can make that statement?

I have made videos of several of my listings, but have never thought to post them on YouTube. I will have to try this and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip.
