I felt guilt at the grocery store yesterday!

I almost was in tears yesterday at Aldi's one of the least expensive grocery stores in my area.

We had a 2/3 full grocery basket!  I felt like I was hoarding food and keeping others from purchasing food.

1/3 of people shopping were not using any sort of a cart and had less than 10 items at the register.

No one had a full basket and many were purchasing 4 tiny rolls of toilet paper for $1.  Very few were purchasing frozen food items.

We voted our stomachs in the last election but we still were not heard.  In St Louis we are going to have more foreclosures this year than last year already announced.  The banks know of their inventories.

At one of St Louis' best day shelters this past week there was "no one" using the nicely done library with computers to search for jobs.

The blame should not be on education but on those who have destroyed a free market which has provided motivation and hope.

Missouri has made it so individuals seeking clinics who do not have all the papers requested cannot get serive...so where do they go?  To the Hospital Emergency Rooms whose costs are then passed on to those who are able to pay!  Something is so wrong.

We all need hope and direction and not making the rich or government take over our lives.

Thank you for letting me have my right of free speach.

Sonny, it is a shame what we have come to, but we are a free market society.

If we didn't buy imports, those jobs would still be in this country, but then you couldn't get a 42" flat screen for $600. It is the government taxation that drove business out of this country.

We had a business and were fined because we had a occupational license for 15 and we hired a 16th worker. It's NUTS and we weren't even in Illinois.

I say hoard away. I once found hamburger on sale for a great price so bought every one the store had. My son said, "Mom, leave some for someone else." I said, "No way, this is too good a price to give up." And I bought every one. The hamburg maker doesn't care if 1 person buys them all or if several people buy them. They only care that they get sold. And my freezer is full of meat purchased on sale.
