Motivational Power Quote

The Beginning

"The world is round

and the place which may seem like the end

may also be only the beginning."

Ivy Baker Priest, author and political figure

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The beginning

With every door that closes, a new one opens and what appears to be the end may be the beginning of new opportunities.

New opportunities come in many shapes and sizes. Some are so small they can be easily overlooked and others can arrive into our world disguised as challenges.

Each opportunity can bring a unique value into our life and anyone of them can bring about massive positive change into our world.

During the course of our live many doors will close behind us and many new doors will open.

To recognize the new opportunities coming into our lives, we will have to be looking forward and not looking into the rearview mirror of our life.

The opportunities are in our present and we have to be receptive to change and leaving the past behind us and embrace the future.

Welcome your new day with open arms.  Grasp the moments of the day with the passion of a new beginning and new opportunities. Each new day is unique and offers you the opportunity to create a new beginning.

I love this. I remember my first real estate deal. I thought I was selling a small 2/1 home. When that did not go through the buyer decided to buy a 12 unit apt. complex!

Thank you for your positive motivational post! Each day is full of opportunities, we just need to open our eyes and ears, and make the most of it. Many times it may be a day of learning something new too! That may be the best day of our lives as we always need to be learning and growing. The main thing we all should realize is the very worst thing to do and to be sure we avoid it at all costs.....complaining.

It is something that comes along so naturally in a conversation that perhaps we didn't even start, but someone comes to the office and starts a complaint about being busy, or not being busy, or it's raining, or we need rain, or the sky is falling or we are being taxed to death (I started that one! - because I live in Illinois it's even easier, "the land of stinking"). Complaining will always keep us out of the promised land!

Anyway, It's a great day, and I'm going to make the most of it and enjoy every moment.

Keep smiling:)

Lou, your quotes are really motivational. Every day is a new beginning. Start afresh. Don't look in rear view mirror...(one of the mindset for a successful Salesperson, also learned at Mike Ferry's Retreat)

Lou - the object sometimes is not whether it's the beginning or the ending ... it knowing where you are and which it is!  Life is a series of starts ... and each start is a new adventure that adds to the experience!  Thanks for the motivation and for the wonderful example ....

Lou, my favorite:

New opportunities come in many shapes and sizes. Some are so small they can be easily overlooked and others can arrive into our world disguised as challenges.

Thank you, I have a lot to think about!

I work hard to make real estate dreams come true!

What a great quote!  I have allways said that if you walk around with a bad attitude, bad things will be drawn to you but if you have a positive attitude, good things will come to you.  It may take a little time but keep smiling and good things will come to you!
