Sorry I've been absent for a while.  After the 11th email NUDGE from an Active Rainer, I guess it's time I popped back in and resumed my blogging.

I've been away for a while and tied up for 3 months.

Let me tell you, Las Vegas is a really FUN town. I forgot how fun it was. We were chosen to do some work for a few famous celebrities and a national Hotel Resort chain. (Pardon my shameless plug here.

Below are two HD virtual tours we've done for Wyndham and one for famous rappers, Jay-Z and Sean (P. Diddy) Combs. They are owners in two Las Vegas Night clubs:  The Tao and the MARQUEE.

If you never heard of them -- you will.  This is where Kim Kardashian hangs out. Mark Wahlberg, and too many other famous faces for me to count.

The MARQUEE (at the Cosmopolitan) had it's grand opening on New Year's Eve. And wow, what a party that was. Brandy, Abigail Spencer, Emmy Rossum, Rachael Taylor and lots more celebs packed the club including Fab Freddy 5.  With 7 bars and 3 warehouse sized rooms, there was plenty of time for dancing and celebrating the coming New Year.

Click our our VPiX HD virtual tour blue link below and be sure to look at the MARQUEE's Boom Box Room (click on the drop down on the right below the MARQUEE logo). We couldn't shoot the LIVE party, so we were allowed to shoot the MARQUEE and the TAO Nightclubs before they started to let everybody in.  But you can see video clips here and there scattered INTO the HD panorama with links to YouTube.

Another FUN project we just started is the big one for Wyndham Resorts. This is a tour of their Bonnet Creek, Florida Resort below:

I'm optimistic about 2011 as many of you should be. Technology such as advances in 360 tours, iPads, iPhones and a lot more "technology," is going to help a lot of us realize a better sales year than 2010.

We've seen a huge RISE in HD virtual tours in 2010. Voyager published 203,107 virtual tours of homes, resorts and commercial businesses for sale or lease. This was 32,904 MORE virtual tours than 2009. So for anyone saying virtual tours are dead -- the numbers certainly are stating otherwise.

2011 is going to go down as the year of the rush to create the perfect MOBILE REALTOR marketing package.  iPhones and iPads flew off the shelves everywhere over Christmas. I even bought my Mom an iPad. I gave her the 32 gig model and had it engraved on the back from her two sons with love.

After 30 minutes of training, she loved it. She was touching screens and flipping through icons and after I showed her how to download some Cross Word games from Apple's iTunes APP Store -- she was hooked.

I don't need a crystal ball to tell you that Apple technology is going to be a big BIG part of how REALTORS market homes to prospects. A REALTOR colleague of mine in Colorado Springs use her iPad to give to prospects when she picks them up in her sparkling new Lexus SUV.

She hands them her iPad lets the home buyer flip through the photos of homes and asks "Which home would you like to see first?"

She told me the iPad had helped her close on more than 92% of her prospects. She added, "My clients turn into kids that were given an XBox or Wii gaming console.  They almost always remark they've never held an iPad. So when I hand them my iPad and show them how easy it is to Flip through the homes... it's clear that the iPad will be a permanent part of my marketing tools to help me get closer to my commissions. Faster."

Many Real Estate Brokerages are giving away iPads as contests.  Better Homes and Gardens, Ventura Barnett Properties is one such broker doing that in San Jose, CA.

Tony Ventura, Owner of Ventura Barnett is shown standing with the winner of their December iPad give-a-way.
