Everyone here in the Boise area runs around in BSU sweats/jackets/shirts/whatever spouting off statistics and either ire or happiness at how the local BSU Bronco are doing/have done. It's almost a sickness. So, for those of us who are not college football fans (there, I said it out loud in print), it's nice to know that there is some artistic culture around that doesn't involve wearing blue and orange or smearing blue war paint under your 4-year-old daughter's eyes while screaming at the screen. (That's not made up. We were having dinner out one evening and the little girl at the table next to us has blue lines smeared under her eyes while there was a blue and orange pom-pom holding her ponytail in wearing a Broncos jersey on her teeny-tiny little body.)
The Morrison Center for the Performing Arts (1910 University Dr, Boise, ID) has brought broadway to Boise. Over the next few months, the Broadway hits 'Legally Blonde', 'Fiddler on the Roof', 'Wicked' and 'Mama Mia' will be performed in our fair city. I hope to secure tickets to at least one (hopefully more, if I can talk the hubby into it) of these shows:
