The Tulips want to Show Their Stuff

It won't be very long before the tulips spring out of the ground and give us their warmth and color. The azaleas and laurel will be there right behind them.

The colors of spring are almost here and all the warmth and good feelings that go along with that after a winter of snow, ice and cold.

Yes, it won't be long now, and we'll see the flowers.

At least that's what I need to keep telling myself

I can't wait!  Love the Spring and I'm done with this white stuff.  We've been lucky so far, but this last storm made up for that!

That's an awful lot of snow you've got (lucky - we rarely get snow in Oregon.) But yes, Spring will be here before we know it...

Ed, just keep talking to yourself. It will eventually get warmer and those little colorful tulips will come up, sometimes through the snow.

Ed -- I am really longing for those azaleas and mountain laurel. More than ever.  I think our tulips in CT  are going to have to rear their heads through all this snow!

That is what I have been telling myself for the past month already!  Just wait till the first snowdrop pops up, then the crocuses, the iris's,...long sigh,... the daffodils and all the glorious colors of spring!

By the way, THAT is a beautiful garden!
