Why I think living in the North Georgia Mountains is great

This week I have been posting about snow in the North Georgia Mountains. Yes we do have a winter here. Here are some of the photos I took of the snow I did not post earlier this weekThe crystal Palace

This is Thursday just after sunrise. It is a crystal Palace as frozen fog descended over night. It really is quite something to see.

Above is another angle at what covered all out mountains for a few days

So here is the last shot off into the distance looking another way. But today Sunday, 1 week later, we are sunny in the 50's and tomorrow we will be in the 60's. This type of weather to me is what makes the North Georgia Mountains unique and great. Yes we have have had more snow than usual this year so far and it lasts a week. We have 4 great and different seasons here . But none of them are severe or drag on. To find out more about the North Georgia Mountains contact us at All Mountain Realty. These photos were taken in the magnificent community of Big Canoe .

Stunning photos! We have had our share of snow this year in MN...snowiest December in history! 55" inches I think. I'm ready for Spring now.

Charlie - beautiful pix, but made me cold just looking at them!  Sunny and 75 here in Phoenix - just the way I like it!

I went to college in Nashville and had friends that moved to Atlanta & Chatt - BEAUTIFUL area (N Georgia/SE TN).  Just wait til the snow melts and cascades down the rocks, creating instant "waterfalls"!

Charlie:  Sometimes nothing tells a story better than beautiful pictures.  I love the mountains for so many reasons, some very sentimental but also for the natural beauty and slower lifestyle.

Love the way the sun shines through the trees in your first photo. Looks like a great place for an early morning cup of coffee.

Great shots Charlie. I don't envy the cold weather, but the vistas are incredible.
