Slow and steady

I just read a blog post on goal setting and I read one on cleaning up house hold debt.  Both spoke to me personally.  I am a huge component of both!  In 2009 I set out on getting rid of credit card debt.  Last New years I made a goal to pay off all my credit card debt by 1/1/2011.  I woke up every morning and told myself (out loud) that I was going to accomplish this.  On 12/31/2010, I paid off my last credit card and I am proud to say, I'm credit card debt free.  Whoo-hoo!  This year on 1/1/2011 I made a new goal, I have a very large debt that I kick myself for having, but you know what, it will be gone by 6/1/2012.  And I wake up everyday and tell myself that!  Folks- it works- just make your goal and continue to tell yourself about it and just DO IT!
