Oceanfront condo living
Jupiter Florida has one of the most scenic areas of free, clean public beaches in all of Florida. Heading south from Jupiter, there are 5 miles of free beaches before you reach the condos in Juno Beach. Along the way, you will find all the development across the road from the beaches and active beachgoers of all types enjoying our famous beaches.
South of Carlin Park, ("Corners" as the surfers call it) you will find kite boarders on windy days, surf fisherman, cyclists in their dedicated lane and showing off their fabulous, colorful riding gear and walkers with their notably white earbuds humming to themselves as they log the miles.
Our beaches are fabulous but there is only one spot where oceanfront condo living is available in Jupiter. That is in the five buildings that make up the complex called Ocean Trail. Four of the buildings sit right on the ocean with the fifth, a smaller building, and back slightly from the shore.
Oceanfront condos were not permitted in Jupiter, but the piece of land where Ocean Trail sits was owned by Palm Beach County which allowed these buildings to go up. All other condos along the beach sit on the western side of A-1-A so the beaches are still open to the public.
Ocean Trail sits on the beach just south of the Jupiter Inlet and the Jupiter Beach Park. The oceanfront condos are 14 stories high so the views from the high floors are incredible.
There are a total of 602 units in the complex with those along the ocean being two bedroom/two baths units of about 1,200 square feet. Those in Building 5 set back from the ocean are about 1,600 square feet. All buildings are accessed through a manned guardhouse.
The complex is spread over 22 acres with a pool and 9 tennis courts. But the real attraction is the oceanfront living. Since the buildings are curved, each unit has a slightly different view than others unlike the rectangle buildings typically built during this time.
If location is what makes real estate, oceanfront condo living in Ocean Trail is clearly the winner. There are other smaller complexes within easy access of the beach, but no others in Jupiter sit directly on the beach.
