White Christmas in Williamsburg, Va

Believe it or not, we had a white Christmas in Williamsburg, Va!

As predicted by local meteorologists, it started snowing around 3:00 p. m. on Christmas afternoon and the snow continued until late in the evening the day after Christmas.  I think that we got about 12 to 14 inches of snow that weekend!

My daughter posted a picture on Facebook of my 6 year old grandson standing in front of our house and the snow was up to his thighs.  We probably got several more inches of snow after that picture was taken!

Hang onto that picture, because in 20 years, everybody in eastern Virginia will have forgotten that day.  I do remember a 17 inch snowfall here in Richmond about 10 or 11 years ago.  Still have some pictures.........somewhere!
