Pay attention guys, this is a GREAT example of what being a tech savvy REALTOR can mean for you.
Here's what she wrote:
"How a QR Code Landed Me The Listing
I have told before on Active Rain of my love for QR codes because they are convenient when shopping. Now I will tell you how great they are for business. I had a listing appointment last week and showed this feature to my potential seller. He couldn’t hide his excitement about the ability to scan the barcode and receive instant gratification from the information provided. So basically I simply showed him the QR and he signed on the bottom line, it doesn’t get any easier than that! Every listing I have has a QR code of its own. This QR code leads to a mobile website that shows potential buyers interior photos of the home as well as giving more information on the home. Where can you find my QR codes? EVERYWHERE!!! They are on my Brochures, Website, Real Estate Book Ads, Facebook Fan Page, My Personal Facebook Page, Business cards and anywhere else I can think of to put them. Will a QR eliminate all brochures on signs, I doubt it. I for one will still put brochures out because not everyone has a smartphone. I will however put the QR codes on everything I can think of!!! One piece of advice TEST your code to see what it looks like when scanned! I scanned a QR codecompany offering QR’s for their virtual tours and NONE of the photos were compatible only the written information and a big blank where the photos should be.
