Hi Sherry,

I am with Keller Williams, but I don't get it.

Sellers are being encouraged to offer a 2% discount to help buyers?

Why not just lower the price?

Phil

Hi Phil. I guess it just depends you want potatoes or pototoes? Would a buyer like a price reduction or AN INCREDIBLE INTEREST RATE OF 3.5% OVER 30 YEARS!? The higher ups thinking "that buyers would be more attracted to an amazing interest rate that would provide them real savings over the life of the loan." I say with the right marketing it could be an attractive offer for sellers and buyers. Offices in our area have teamed together and ran full page ads, added sign riders and canvased the area to get the idea out. I guess too the word "price reduction" is having a whole negative effect on everyone.
