Tutorial: Setting Up Your ActiveRain Community Sponsorship

Reblogger Celeste "SALLY" Cheeseman

As an avid supporter of the the ActiveRain Community Sponsorship (i.e. Localism) for the past few years I am reblogging Bob Stewart's tutorial.

Real Estate is all about your local area too!  Being a local area 'expert' means I know my area and so do you...right?  Well, show them! Write about the history, happenings, businesses you've frequented and more...in your local area. The consumre will see that you do know your area as well as being the 'go to person' for all things real estate.

If you're already savvy in what being an ActiveRain Community Sponsor is this tutorial just may help you with with the resizing of your pictures that accompany your posts.

Read and watch on.................

Here is a video where I take you through all the steps of setting up your ActiveRain Community Sponsorship. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments and we will get you an answer.

I know it's a little long, but it also includes a demonstration of how to resize your images for the marquee photo in your community. Since your image has to be exactly 960pixels wide x 440pixels high (I say tall in the video, but you know what I mean) it will help if you are unsure how to resize your images effectively.

Sally, great that you did this.  I literally searched for it last night and came across it and watched it myself.  AR has soooooo may tools and so much support to help us all get ahead here, one would be crazy not to take advantage of it all.  I've got to say that it has sparked my enthusiaum in this marketplace so much that I find myself enjoying the industry again.  I feel challenged to find helpful information for my area now.  I was ready to get out of the business.  The short sales and foreclosures were really bringing me down as were the buyers out there wanting to find something that they could buy for a penny on every dollar.  But I have new life now.  And it's all because of AR!  This video being the newest and most exciting offer by AR.  Thanks for thinking it should be re-blogged.  :)
