Southern California Music Festival Coachella 2011 Line Up Announced Today!

Coachella, the greatest music festival in Southern California isn't happening till April but the always hyped up release of the line up has happened today midway through January.

The 3-day fest takes place in the desert region of the Coachella Valley in Indio on the Polo Fields. The weather is always hot but so are the bands and the people that have been showing up to the festival that's been around since 1997.

Each of the headliners listed on the line up so far aren't big surprises as each of them have played the festival before. One surprise listed on the line up close to the headlining spot (that should probably actually be in the headlining spot) is Duran Duran. With a line up that presents more of a newer generation of music groups Duran Duran will be one that attracts the crowd looking to hear something from a band that has already solidified it's mark in music history.

Coachella has always been good about mixing new and old bands, mixing with music of all different genres so that the appeal of the festival is broadened. There's something for everyone and it's a great festival for music fans in general.
