MYTH: "As a buyer, I only have enough money to pay my downpayment and closing costs. If I see a FSBO I am interested in, I won't be able to have my agent represent me because I will not have enough money to pay them too."

They will also help you through the home inspection process and ensure you are not buyng a "lemon". In Kentucky, when a home sale involves a licensed real estate agent, the seller is asked to complete a Seller Property Condition Disclosure Form. This is not the case when buying a FSBO. Let your agent work for you and save you money in the long run!
