What's your state known for???

Every state like every ethnic group is known for something either different or interesting or maybe even both.

In Hawaii we are known for our lush tropical beauty, our surf and large waves, hula dancing, beautiful women, Kona coffee, the macadamia nut, pineapples, pigeon slang, ethic diversity, King Kamehameha, Waikiki, and so much more!

I would love to hear what's unique in the place you call home. Please share!

Also if there is something specific you would like to know more about, please ask.

Eric, I'll pass on the Alligators but would love the Cajun food and Crabs! You do sound a little upset with politics though. LOL!

Hawaii has some great shopping! The high end retail stores in Ala Moana Shopping Center has some of the highest sales in the world. I think Luis Vuitton, Gucci and Cartier sold the more here than in Europe. The Japanese tourist probably help these numbers because they go nuts shopping when they come here.
